Wine logistics · multi-site
A subsidiary starting up, a group that does not stop
PHM Group · Wine and spirits logistics
01The context
PHM Group runs several logistics sites. The group is opening its Mitjavile subsidiary in Libourne, near Bordeaux, a warehouse dedicated to handling fine wines — goods whose unit value and storage constraints resemble no others.
02The problem
A new tool on a new site raises the question every multi-site owner asks: what happens to the others in the meantime? Changing software at one subsidiary must neither disturb the existing warehouses nor force them to migrate at the same time.
03What was put in place
TALK Logistique deployed at the Mitjavile subsidiary, configured for the constraints of wine. The system also answered the needs of the group’s other logistics sites, which made it possible to extend later without redoing the work.
04The result
The subsidiary started up with no interruption at all to the group’s overall activity. Support was provided on site and remotely by the TEDIES teams, at the pace of the start-up.
Bringing in TALK made for an efficient start-up of our Mitjavile subsidiary in Libourne, a warehouse dedicated to handling fine wines. The system also answered the needs of our other logistics sites. The implementation caused no interruption at all to overall activity. The support was particularly effective and suited to our needs.
