Front office & REST API

Your customers’ own space

Your customers check their stock and track their deliveries without calling you. And when they would rather connect their ERP, the API is there.

Carriers and logistics providers whose customers are asking for visibility. And shippers, manufacturers or online retailers who want to see their stock at their provider.

What it changes

01

The phone rings less

“Where is my order?” is the question that takes up most of your dispatchers’ day. Your customers answer it themselves, from a browser, without disturbing you and without waiting for opening hours.

02

They key it in, you stop importing

The shipper station lets your customers create and track their own shipments. What they enter goes into TALK with no re-keying, no email to work through and no copying errors.

03

Proofs of delivery, self-service

The document station puts signed consignment notes at your partners’ disposal. A POD request no longer reaches after-sales: the customer finds it alone, at a time that suits them.

04

An API, not only an interface

Your best-equipped customers plug their ERP straight into the REST API. They do not change their habits, and you do not open one more exchange channel to maintain.

02

In detail

Four services

Shipper station

A web space between an express carrier and its customers: creating and tracking shipments, consulting history. In its multi-carrier version it exchanges over EDI INOVERT with partner carriers.

Logistics station

The warehouse counterpart: stock, stock counts, receipts and issues, and self-service order entry.

Document station

Proofs of delivery — POD — made available to partners without going through after-sales.

Web services

A REST API for customers who would rather drive transport and logistics from their own production systems, without a web interface in between.

What to know before integrating

The API is documented, and the documentation is available from the client area with a Talk Interactive account. The documentation itself is in French.

If you are a shipper

If you are a manufacturer or an online retailer and your logistics provider runs TALK, you have real-time access to your stock from your browser, with nothing to install.
