An approach to managing and synchronising all the processes that allow one or more customer/supplier systems to take account of and meet the expectations of end customers. It aims both to improve the value created for the customer and to improve the economic performance of the companies taking part. It brings together all the inter-company collaboration approaches: logistics management, CPFR, trade marketing, pooled replenishment and so on.
